NANAY PINATAY, NI RAPE, KINATAY AT NILUTO NG SARILING ANAK

Negros Oriental Philippines – A mother was murdered, butchered and cooked by own son this morning August 28, at Purok 5, Barangay Boloc-Boloc in the town of Sibulan of Negros Oriental.

The victim's name is Josefina Barera Manaban, 86 years old and widowed. The victim was a known citizen in there area. While the suspects whose name is Roger Barera Manaban 52 years old married but has no permanent address or home.

According to P03 Diaz, Police investigator of PNP Sibulan when interviewed by DYWC RMN said they caught the suspect holding a weapon a hatch of some kind when they arrested the suspect, the said weapon was suspected to have been used to kill the victim. It was also used to butcher the inner parts of the victim that was later used to be cooked by the suspect to eat.

The victim was naked when the police arrived, initial investigation shows that the victim's corpse was defiled sexually before her body was mutilated to be cooked. The police are also investigating if the suspect was under the influence of drugs when commiting the crime. Locals are saying that the suspect was an addict and has a problem with his mental health. Supect is put to jail while awaiting charges to be filed to him by the polic department.
